First time investors Lucas Power and Allie Buxton are proving that you’re never too young to get ahead in the property game – if you find the perfect location.
The 21-year-olds purchased their first home together on a 375sqm block at Pebble Creek in the rapidly growing Logan suburb of South Maclean in May last year.
Allie said they were eagerly anticipating the delivery of the next stages of Pebble Creek, which will include a dog off-leash park perfect for their pooch Freya.
Affordability first lured the young couple to the area, but it was the combination of being close to nature, must-have suburb amenities and sense of community that inspired them to invest in a second property.
Lucas and Allie are currently building a four-bedroom home with Resi Design Homes on a 365 sqm block, just a street over from their first property.
Allie said their strategy was to rent out their first home soon after moving into the new one being built in Stage 2 in early April, but this was just the beginning of their property portfolio journey at Pebble Creek.
“We’re looking to purchase for a third time in one of the future releases,” she said.
“The area is really emerging, and we know that Pebble Creek is going to have a big future.
“It’s the perfect family location and you say hello and wave to everyone as you walk down the street.”
Allie said the combination of being close to nature and key infrastructure not only made Pebble Creek a great place to live but an ideal location to invest.
